About the Role: Senior Litigation Attorney
As a Senior Litigation Attorney, you will play a pivotal role in their legal team, handling a diverse range of complex litigation matters. This role offers a unique blend of responsibilities, challenges, and opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Case Management: Lead and manage a portfolio of litigation cases from inception to resolution, ensuring high-quality legal representation for our clients.
- Legal Strategy: Develop and implement effective legal strategies tailored to each case, demonstrating your legal expertise and analytical skills.
- Courtroom Advocacy: Represent clients in court, demonstrating excellent advocacy skills and a thorough understanding of legal principles.
- Client Relations: Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing exceptional legal counsel, guidance, and communication throughout the litigation process.
- Mentorship: Provide mentorship and support to junior associates and legal staff, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admission to the bar in New York State
10+ years of defense litigation experience representing clients in complex commercial litigation, and in arbitration and mediation
Experience handling various aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings and motions, managing discovery, and taking part in litigation strategy
Strong legal research and writing skills.
